Longwood Hockey was built on Larry Robbins' vision to create an elite development program centered on long-term player growth through elite-level coaching. The program emphasizes clear pathways for hockey advancement while developing well-rounded individuals. That model was first proven in New Jersey, where the North Jersey Avalanche was built into a national Tier 1 powerhouse, and later with the Chicago Steel, where the organization was transformed into one of the premier programs in the USHL, resulting in Two Clark Cups and Two Anderson Cups. Today, Longwood is taking that same approach as it builds an elite development program in the state of Florida. With a fully integrated structure spanning Learn To Play, half and full ice mite games, competitive mite travel teams, Tier 2 AA/A, Tier 1 AAA, and supplemental elite programming, Longwood is creating a system designed to develop players at every stage while shaping well-rounded individuals both on and off the ice.
